The city stretches endlessly beyond the windows. The skyline shifts from morning light to golden hour and eventually to a sea of twinkling lights after dark. It is undeniably beautiful. Yet what has always captivated me most isn’t what I see outside the windows—it’s what happens inside them.
This past weekend, I celebrated my birthday surrounded by friends, colleagues, creatives, entrepreneurs, executives, and people from many different chapters of my life. As conversations filled the space and laughter carried from one level to the next, I found myself reflecting on the very reason Davina exists.
The penthouse was never meant to be simply a venue.
From its perch above Hollywood, with sweeping views across Los Angeles, Davina offers more than a remarkable backdrop. The skyline may draw people in, but it has never been the reason this space exists.
It was created as a place for connection.
A place where ideas are exchanged, relationships are strengthened, and meaningful moments have room to unfold. In a world that often moves too fast, Davina was designed to encourage people to slow down long enough to engage in real conversation, share experiences, and create memories that extend far beyond a single event.
That is also the inspiration behind this blog.
Over the years, I have learned that our greatest growth often comes when we are willing to look at things from a different vantage point. Sometimes a change in scenery sparks a new idea. Sometimes a conversation changes the direction of a business. Sometimes a gathering reminds us of relationships we have neglected or opportunities we never considered.

Different industries, different backgrounds, different experiences—all coming together under one roof. Not because of the penthouse itself, but because of the connections being created within it.
The view may bring people here, but the experience is what stays with them.
